Student Affairs/Eduventures Partnership
In 2007, the Division of Student Affairs joined Eduventures Student Affairs Learning Collaborative, a member-based research consortium of institutions of higher education in order to strengthen the rich array of research and assessment performed across the division. Our participation is organized by a campus board consisting of representatives throughout the division and chaired by Adrienne Hamcke Wicker in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union – Center for Campus Life.

Collaborative Projects
These projects are identified by all member institutions in the Learning Collaborative. Project conceptualization and instrument development is performed cooperatively among Eduventures and Learning Collaborative member institutions. Data analysis is performed by Eduventures. Projects in 2007 include:
Achieving Strategic Alignment - an examination of member institutions’ organizational structures, budget investments, mechanisms for internal and external alignment, and professional background and development of division unit heads.
Learning Beyond the Classroom - an investigation of the aspects of the university experience that support learning beyond the classroom and development of student's leadership and intercultural sensitivity. Background characteristics and pre-college experiences were also examined in regard to development in these two areas. Materials for the June 3rd event:
Custom Research Projects
These are projects identified by the UM Student Affairs Eduventures Board. Project conceptualization and instrument development is performed cooperatively among Eduventures and the UM Board. Data analysis is performed by Eduventures. Our first project is:
