Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs
What We Do
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Maryland oversees student services and programs for the entire campus community. Composed of 15 departments and over 1500 staff members, the Division of Student Affairs is involved in all aspects of a student’s life including housing, dining, transportation, student activities, community involvement, recreation, health, wellness, spirituality, and career and social development. The Vice President’s Office oversees the activities of our departments and coordinates division-wide sustainability
practices, facilities renewal and fiscal management. In addition,
two student organizations are advised by the
Office of the Vice President –
Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and the
Senior Council.
