On Wednesday, May 16 Senior Marshals attend a luncheon held in their honor, hosted by University of Maryland President Wallace Loh.

The Senior Marshal program, founded in 1991, recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated the highest levels of scholarship, service to the campus community, extracurricular involvement, and personal growth. They are nominated campus-wide by faculty, administrators, and staff and selected through an application process. Senior Marshals help facilitate and guide Commencement's student processional, and are recognized at the ceremony.

Congratulations to the Spring 2017 Senior Marshals.
